    Job Overview

     

    If you have forklift and/or warehouse experience, this is a great opportunity to join a hardworking, supportive, and talented warehouse team as a Warehouse Operator! The warehouse team plays a critical role in the overall function of the Komatsu facility by receiving, storing, and picking the components required to support the 4 major product lines manufactured at our Longview facility.     Key Job Responsibilities

     

    + Work safe and be an advocate for safety.

    + Operate a variety of warehouse equipment including forklifts (reach and stand up, 6,000 – 10,000 lb.), hand cart and pallet jack.

    + Loading and unloading a truck utilizing a forklift.

    + Maintaining an accurate record of all parts received and distributed.

    + Perform move transactions using a scan gun.

    + Familiarity with operation of Raymond wire guided forklift.

    + Load, unload, move, stack, pick, put away, stock, and arrange material in an accessible manner and according to standard warehouse practices.

    + Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of work environment.

    + Promptly communicating any errors or discrepancies.

    + Strategically storing material to maximize storage space within the warehouse.

    + Counting and confirming inventory.

    + Utilize SAP to do basic research.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Work experience, preferably in warehouse.

    + Ability to operate forklift competently.

    + Basic math skills and ability to read a tape measure.

    + Successful completion of background investigation and drug screening.

    + Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    + Strong people skills and ability to work effectively with a team.

    + Agile, dexterous, and undeterred by heights and adverse climatic conditions.

    + Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. safely.

    + Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance.

    + Available to work extended hours.
