Description
We are seeking a Global Trade Compliance Manager to join an innovative and collaborative organization known for its dedication to serving professionals who value hard work and solutions-oriented products.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development and execution of a global trade compliance strategy aligned with company goals.
+ Act as a subject matter expert on trade laws, tariffs, and best practices, continuously driving program enhancements.
+ Manage day-to-day import/export operations while engaging with government agencies to resolve trade-related issues.
+ Identify opportunities for duty and tariff expense reductions through strategic initiatives like Importer Self-Assessment and Free-Trade Agreements.
+ Work cross-functionally to ensure product compliance with domestic and international regulatory standards.
+ Administer and maintain relationships with customs brokers and external trade counsel.
+ Oversee inquiries regarding anti-dumping/countervailing duties, export licenses, and compliance screening of sanctioned parties.
+ Support internal stakeholders with trade-related advice including HTS classifications, country-of-origin determinations, and contractual recommendations.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
+ Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, law, or related field.
+ Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in international trade compliance.
+ Deep expertise in U.S. and international customs laws, harmonized tariff schedules, and compliance processes.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail.
+ Ability to work effectively cross-functionally and manage confidential information with discretion.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe tools.
