    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a diligent and skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on large industrial equipment. The role requires a proactive individual to address floor calls and conduct preventative maintenance as per work orders.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on large industrial equipment.

    + Respond to floor calls as necessary and conduct preventative maintenance based on work orders.

    + Troubleshoot mechanically related problems involving gears, motors, drives, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

    + Repair AC/DC drives and motors, and troubleshoot contacts, relays, and coils.

    + Utilize various meters such as multi, amp, clamp, and phase rotation meters.

    + Effectively use schematics and ladder logic for troubleshooting.

    + Run and bend conduit as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Electrical knowledge including 480V / 3-phase systems.

    + Mechanical troubleshooting skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience wiring AC/DC motors and drives.

    + Pneumatic and hydraulic maintenance experience.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.

    + Experience with photo-eye sensors, VFDs, HMIs.

    + Installation of equipment.

    + Hoist/crane experience.

    + Experience with servo motors and controls.

    + Familiarity with capacitors.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is set in an industrial manufacturing environment where you'll be working around metals, rolling mills, and casting equipment. The facility can be loud, hot in the summer, and cool in the winter, so candidates should be comfortable working in various elements. Initially, training will occur on the third shift, following a 2/2/3 schedule from 7 PM to 7 AM. Training duration will depend on the candidate's learning pace.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

    EVP -
