Epsilon Systems Solutions, Inc. has a job opportunity for a full-time Maritime Mechanic in San Diego, CA. This position is contingent on the award of a contract.

Summary: The Maritime Mechanic supports Explosive Ordnance Disposal Group One (EODGRU ONE) in boat trailer and watercraft service support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Maritime Mechanic will service, repair, and maintain a wide range of watercraft and their trailers, including light surface craft, Jet Skis, and various models of inboard and outboard motors.

+ Will assist in providing on-the-job training (OJT) to new military and civilian mechanics, ensuring the maintenance team's skills are up-to-date and comprehensive.

Required Qualifications:

+ A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certified mechanic with commercial small outboard engines and ancillary equipment.

+ Capable of troubleshooting and minor repairs of inboard marine diesel engines, as well as familiarity with waterjets.

+ Must have ability to obtain security clearance.

+ Must have HS Diploma or equivalent.

+ Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

ADA Notations:

+ Must be able to work in an office environment. May sit for long periods of time.

+ Must also be able to work in a shipyard environment and on naval vessels on occasion. Must be able to get up and down ladders and in tight spaces where required.

+ May require PPE in certain environments (hard hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, etc.)
