DESCRIPTION
This position is a #hybrid in Acosta Group's Lewisville location, working on-site, 3 days a week, Tuesday through Thursday.
The Associate Marketing Manager works closely with our clients and Costco to manage the planning and execution of in-store demo programs. This includes liaising with our third-party demo vendor and managing a multimillion budget. The Associate Marketing Manager develops and manages the timelines, keeps stakeholders abreast of critical dates, schedules meetings as needed and reports on Demo activity.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions:
+ Account Services
+ Serves as primary day-to-day contact for any matter related to Demo activity at Costco
+ Develops, nurtures and maintains client and Costco relationships
+ Initiates regular client status meetings for all on-going projects including anticipating upcoming projects
+ Attends marketing/Client meetings
+ Writes recaps of meetings and issues within 24 hours of meeting/discussion
+ Assists VP \ RM with coordination of key customer presentations including market research studies
+ Program Planning and Development
+ Ensures recommended program solutions fulfill Client’s & Costco goals and brand standards
+ Effectively communicates program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
+ Liaison with the Business Managers to develop marketing strategy to support program impletion at Costco
+ Aids with the BM and RM to create and manage timelines/due dates that keep project on track and set us up for flawless execution
+ Works closely with client to support them in generating new ideas/strategic concepts for platforms as well as retail custom promotions
Program Execution & Implementation:
+ Interacts with client’s team to assure proper information is supplied, on a timely manner
+ Works with the client on allocating products for a specific time frame within the due dates
+ Recognizes and resolves issues and conflicts within the program
+ Identifies and manages program dependencies and critical path
+ Proactively supports changes in project scope, identifies potential crises and devise contingency plans
+ Analyzes execution reports to assure program adheres with Costco and Client’s expectations
Financial Responsibilities:
+ Supports RM\VP manage overall success of accounts – including communication of critical deadlines to client sales teams as it relates to cycle deadlines
+ Assists in the completion of vendor commitment forms
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education and Work Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree required in advertising, marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience required
+ Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Club Industry
+ Research/analysis experiences a plus
+ Club Industry customer service experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:
+ Handle multiple projects
+ Strong organizational and communications skills
+ Team player with a positive attitude
+ Self-starter with strong analytical problem-solving ability
+ Ability to effectively develop and communicate ideas to upper management\Clients\Costco
+ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
+ Be willing, able, readily available to work outside of "normal hours"
+ Assist and grow relations with Costco and clients
+ Provide follow-up on discussions, issues, projects, etc. internally & with customers
