Description:
Assists Regional Director, Physician Employment Services and MercyOne Medical Group Leadership with oversight and coordination of physician and advanced practice clinician contracts. Assists in development, maintenance and daily operation of contract management database. Develops processes to manage documents involved with physician contracting. Organizes and maintains documentation necessary for compliance with physician contracting regulations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** **:
+ Acquires contract management database expertise and responds to in-house requests for contracts.
+ Assists in development and oversight process to audit contract files as applicable.
+ Prepares and distributes employment agreements to physicians.
+ Drafts and distributes Advanced Practice Provider and Allied Health offers as applicable.
+ Distributes, collects, and track all Residency and Fellowship contracts.
+ Drafts and distributes physician offer letters.
+ Maintains contract and offer letter tracking document.
+ Develops and maintains immigration tracking document and maintains all public access files.
+ Facilitates immigration process in coordination with Trinity and local market.
+ Makes changes in start date letters (drafts, distributes, scans and verifies).
+ Creates physician contract expiration report for responsible executive.
+ Assists MercyOne Medical Group Leadership in oversight and coordination of all provider contracts.
+ Provides additional support, as needed, to Physician Employment Services department.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED** **:
+ Bachelor’s degree or support experience in law firm preferred.
+ Basic knowledge of legal contracting concepts preferred.
+ Experience with computer databases and web based programs.
+ Health care experience preferred.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
