Description
Our client is seeking highly motivated local talent in Michigan for a fully remote Sr. Accounting Analyst opportunity. Candidates must be available for occasional in-person collaboration and public accounting experience or CPA certification is highly desired.
This exciting position involves supporting deal teams in diverse M& A transactions and offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to strategic financial analysis and decision-making. Responsibilities:
• Prepare pitch materials, detailed information memoranda, and compelling PowerPoint presentations to support M& A activities.
• Conduct in-depth company, industry, market, and competitor research to inform transaction strategies.
• Perform valuation analyses and build financial models for both prospective and active transactions.
• Collaborate with clients during presentations and throughout the deal execution process.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze financial trends to support strategic decision-making.
• Utilize data mining techniques to uncover insights and improve forecasting accuracy.
• Support auditing processes by providing accurate financial data and documentation.
• Contribute to acquisitions strategy by evaluating opportunities and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced coursework or certifications are a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M& A, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and valuation techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial statement analysis and data mining methodologies.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and team members.
