Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate billing, invoicing, and data entry processes, while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues. This position offers an opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in Microsoft Office programs and contribute to the success of a productivity-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer sales invoices, shipments, and pickups with precision and attention to detail.

• Verify and apply appropriate sales tax rates to transactions.

• Manage freight billing for customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve departmental goals.

• Draft correspondence and other written communications in a clear and precise manner.

• Perform billing and review tasks for assigned locations, maintaining high standards of accuracy.

• Support corporate programs and initiatives by aligning with company objectives.

• Represent the company with integrity, delivering exceptional customer service.

• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Adapt to varying work hours and occasional overtime as needed to meet business demands. Requirements • Proficient in 10-key data entry with proven speed and accuracy.

• Minimum of one year of experience using Microsoft Outlook.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and analytical tasks.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office programs, including intermediate-level Excel commands.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-volume, productivity-driven environment.

• Reliable and consistent attendance within departmental schedules.

• Previous customer service experience with a focus on professionalism and quality.
