• Accounting Manager/Supervisor

    We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Manager/Supervisor in KANEOHE, Hawaii. Working within our team, you will have the responsibility of overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and collaborating with different teams to align accounting processes with organizational goals.     Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and ensure the accuracy of month-end and year-end closings, adhering to nonprofit accounting standards.

    • Collaborate with external auditors for financial audits and compliance reviews.

    • Develop and implement robust accounting workflows, policies, and controls tailored to the nonprofit sector.

    • Review and reconcile the organization's current books, correct errors, and ensure compliance with regulations.

    • Collaborate with leadership to develop budgets and provide clear, actionable financial reports to aid in decision-making.

    • Monitor and report on grants, donations, and restricted funds to guarantee proper usage and compliance.

    • Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Blackbaud) and advanced Excel skills to manage financial operations.

    • Work closely with program leaders and staff to ensure alignment of accounting processes with broader organizational goals.

    Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounting Manager or Supervisor role

    • Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

    • Experienced in using ADP - Financial Services

    • Skilled in BlackLine software

    • Familiar with Concur software application

    • Has knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

    • Proficient in performing Accounting Functions

    • Capable of handling Accounts Payable (AP)

    • Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Experience in Auditing

    • Can perform Billing Functions effectively
