Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager in Rochester, New York. The successful candidate will be integral to our team, overseeing all aspects of our construction projects from start to finish. This role involves a significant amount of coordination, communication, and financial management.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the entirety of construction projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Permanent and manage contractors and vendors, ensuring their work aligns with project goals.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and design teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules, using methods such as the Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Carry out necessary financial tasks, such as controlling job costs and pricing, approving payments, and managing change orders.
• Write and manage purchase order scopes and schedules.
• Ensure all necessary inspections are completed and certificates of occupancy are obtained.
• Interpret and understand construction drawings and specifications, facilitating technical conversations when necessary.
• Report on project progress to office and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
• Complete all project close-out activities in a timely and thorough manner. Requirements
• Applicant should hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role of Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Construction Drawings is a prerequisite for this position.
• Strong skills in Construction Cost estimation and management are required.
• Experience in Construction Estimating is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated ability in Construction Management is necessary.
• Should have a track record of successfully managing Construction Projects.
• Proficiency in developing and managing Construction Schedules is needed.
