    Overview

     

    We are seeking 2 detail-oriented and organized Leasing Agents to join our team for a limited-term assignment, supporting our property management operations. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with tax credit programs while delivering exceptional customer service to prospective tenants. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of the leasing process and tax credit programs, enabling them to efficiently handle applicant interactions, documentation, and eligibility verifications. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team, ensuring seamless leasing operations and adherence to regulatory requirements during a period of increased demand or special projects.

    Responsibilities

    + Tax Credit Paperwork and Compliance: Process and manage tax credit paperwork, ensuring all documentation is accurate and meets program requirements.

    + Percentage Files Management: Maintain and organize percentage files to ensure compliance with leasing regulations.

    + Applicant Meetings: Meet with prospective applicants to discuss leasing options, answer questions, and guide them through the application process.

    + Income and Asset Verification: Verify applicants' income and assets to ensure eligibility for leasing programs, including tax credit qualifications.

    + Leasing Process Support: Assist in the overall leasing process, including preparing lease agreements, conducting follow-ups, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience for tenants.

    + Tax Credit Program Understanding: Apply knowledge of tax credit programs to ensure all leasing activities align with program guidelines and regulations.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + Basic understanding of the leasing process and tax credit programs.

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with applicants.

    + Ability to verify income and assets accurately.

    + Previous experience in property management or leasing is a plus but not required.
