A unique and exciting client is looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join their fun and exciting team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will manage payroll processes with precision, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards but also serve as a Human Resources Assistant. . This position requires expertise in payroll systems and a commitment to delivering accurate and timely results.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including wages, tax information, and benefits.

• Utilize payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Paychex to manage payroll operations.

• Handle payroll-related inquiries from employees, providing prompt and clear responses.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.

• Stay current on changes to payroll laws and regulations to maintain compliance.

• Assist with the administration of employee benefits, including deductions and contributions.

• Generate payroll reports and provide data analysis to support decision-making.

• Conduct audits of payroll processes to identify and resolve errors.

• Support special payroll projects as needed.

This position will be on a schedule of 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing or a related role.

• Proficiency in payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, and Paychex.

• Strong knowledge of accounting software and payroll regulations.

• Experience with benefit administration and related processes.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

• Strong communication skills for resolving payroll inquiries.

• Familiarity with tax laws and compliance standards related to payroll.
