Vibration Technician Role Summary/Purpose: Primary role will be to use Portable Vibration Analyzers to perform data acquisition and data analysis services on customer sites.

The Opportunity:

Perform machinery walk-around inspection and portable data collection on assigned machinery. Collecting vibration data on the equipment as well as analyzing the vibration data to identify root causes. He/she will work with the engineers and the technicians in the team to implement any corrective maintenance based on the vibration data if needed. The responsibilities will also include storing/ keeping track of the inventory of all the vibration hardware, spare bearings/couplings, grease tubes etc.

What you need to succeed:

* Understanding of Equipment Vibration Measurements and Readings (amplitude, duration, phase angle, etc.)

* Understand Portable Vibration Analyzers & Software, its use and function.

* Understanding of Rotating Machinery Operation & Diagnostics Understanding of Equipment Maintenance & Reliability Ability to understand equipment condition trending.

* Exceptional Understanding of MS Office Qualifications/Requirements: Minimum Level 2 ISO Certification in Vibration is required and Level 3 to be acquired within the first year of employment

* High School Diploma or GED required and Two-Year Technical or 4-year College Degree desired 1-3 years\u2019

* Experience preferably working in an operating facility with rotating equipment

* Ability to work at heights Ability to transverse around and over industrial piping and equipment.

* Experience with Portable Vibration Analyzers & Software or similar products.

* Exceptionally strong customer service mindset.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English language

* Strong Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills

* Very strong organizational and time management skills Self-starter with minimal supervision requirement; ability to work independently, prioritize & organize, to demonstrate behavior and to meet deadlines.
