    Our intention is that this role, dedicated to the Advanced Materials business, will be a part of this future transaction when the separation occurs. This position is intended to convey to the new, independent company, to be named Solstice Advanced Materials when the separation occurs. This is expected to occur in late 2025 or early 2026.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Support all the lab operation work mainly focus on FP blowing agent and foam application industry.

    + Support engineers/customers on testing and evaluation work, support project works.

    + Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory procedures with general supervision required for the preparation and evaluation of various blowing agents-based materials and related evaluations.

    + Manage proactively sample preparation and testing

    + Conduct all necessary calculations and record experimental data in a laboratory notebook and summarize the experimental results for his / her direct supervisor.

    + Continue to expand work field, prepare to transfer to other projects based on project request/adjust

    + Maintain lab safety and 5S, in time close all HSE related findings / activities

    + Support RD Engineer to manage related chemicals, include from New chemical application to storage management and waste treatment

    + Support RD Engineer / project team to do the related procurement work

    + Ensure the lab equipment in good condition through TPM

     

    The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

    YOU MUST HAVE

    + 2 years plus in a chemical laboratory operation experience

    + Prefer lab experiences in rigid polyurethane foam industry.

    + Has R&D lab experience- has knowledge about chemical management/lab related equipment maintenance, and HSE & 5S as well.

    WE VALUE

    + College or Bachelor, in Chemistry or Material Science or equivalent

    + A strong driver to focus on deliverables with sense of urgency.

    + Basic English reading / writing is required.

    + Teamwork spirit / Self-motivated.

    + A working knowledge of standard PC operations (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

    + Ability to finish the assigned work independently.

    + Willingness to learn new technologies.
