    Sigma Defenseis seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer IV to join our team in San Diego, CA.

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of experience with a Linux operating system.

    + Jenkins experience preferred, but GitLab pipelines are acceptable.

    + Assist the team with upgrades and patches of virtual environments.

    + Demonstrated experience managing software version control and software source code base.

    + Demonstrated experience developing software using an Agile framework.

    + Experience building containerized systems using Docker and/or Podman.

    Mandatory Certifications:

    + DoD 8570 IAT Level II - Security+ (or equivalent).

    Computer Programs/Software Requirements:

    + Linux

    + Red Hat

    + Fedora

    Education Requirements:

    + Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.

    Personnel Clearance Level:

    + Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.

    + Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

    Candidate Differentiators:

    + VCP, Sec+, Net+, and or CISSP certifications.

    + Close proximity to the San Diego, CA facility.

    Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

    + Design, develop, and improve the automation pipeline and integrated deployment processes to build new containers, systems, and environments.

    + Perform technical support to the team and assist in developing security protocols.

    + Utilize DevOps tools to ensure the code compiles and passes any tests.

    + Develop and execute regression test scrips to verify system functionality.

     

    Salary Range: $115,000 - $130,000 annually.
