Security Risk Intel Analyst

**Location:** This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which **includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week** . An ideal candidate will be preferably in Indianapolis, IN.

****** The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles and a 1-hour commute to one of our Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) locations. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The **Security Risk Intel Analyst** is responsible for the collection, analysis, production and dissemination of timely, relevant, and accurate information that will aid in protecting safety and security of company personnel, global assets, and operations.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

+ Monitors and analyzes open source information to identify global geopolitical issues that could impact company personnel, assets or operations.

+ Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues, situations, and events such as: terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, as well as international politics and economies to understand potential impact to areas where the client has operational interests.

+ Data mines and compiles analytics from various social media platforms.

+ Provide support for regional security operations, event security, executive protection, and intelligence needs, as directed.

+ Develops actionable insights and recommendations from gathered open source information to support decision-making and provides early warning of physical and operational risks to the company.

+ Provides intelligence support to threat management, protective operations, and travel risk management programs.

+ Routinely delivers strategic intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations.

+ Assists in establishing standing and priority intelligence requirements for the department.

+ Create intelligence reports and products, including but not limited to threat and vulnerability assessments

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS in intelligence, international studies, journalism or related field and a minimum of 1 year of experience conducting all-source analysis; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

+ Strong familiarity with major social media platforms.

+ Knowledgeable on world news and current events.

+ Formal Intelligence training to include Military, Government, Association, Private Sector Intelligence training certification course(s).
