Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Consultant - Report Designer to play a pivotal role in overhauling and enhancing our financial crime product. This includes upgrading back-end components, data structures, and reporting capabilities.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually compelling and comprehensive reports and dashboards. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensuring data accuracy, and providing actionable insights to support judicious decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in report design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate complex data into clear, user-friendly reports.
**BI and Analytics Solutions:** Create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge, ensuring that the solutions are aligned with business goals and provide valuable insights for decision-making.
**Report and Dashboard Design:** Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence reports and dashboards using BI tools and platforms, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and effectivelyshare key metrics and trends.
**Technical Specifications:** Translate business needs into technical specifications by working closely with stakeholders toknow their requirements and ensuring that the BI solutions meet these needs.
**Testing and Troubleshooting:** Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting for BI reports and dashboards to ensure they are accurate, reliable, and perform well, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
**System Evaluation and Improvement:** Evaluate and improve existing BI systems by identifying areas for enhancement, implementing best practices, and ensuring the systems are up-to-date with the latest technologies and methodologies.
**System Integration:** Collaborate with teams to integrate systems, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across different platforms and applications.
**Database Queries and Analysis:** Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses to extract meaningful insights from data, helping various business functions and initiatives.
**Visualizations and Reports:** Create visualizations and reports for requested projects, ensuring they are tailored to the audience's needs and effectively communicate the desired information.
**End-User Training:** Train end-users on new reports and dashboards, providing the necessary support and guidance to ensure they can effectively use the BI tools and understand the data presented.
**Timely Reporting and Process Improvement:** Provide timely reports and identify opportunities for process improvements, ensuring that the reporting processes are efficient and continuously enhanced to meet evolving business needs.
Required Skills
10+ years of program management experience, with a focus on modernization and transformation programs. It's desirable to has if this has been in the FCC area for its product modernization.
**Proficiency in Report Development Tools:** Expertise in using tools like Tableau, Power BI, and SSRS to create and manage business intelligence reports and dashboards.
**SQL and** **Database** **Management:** Strong skills in SQL and database management, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
**Design** **and Visualization:** Ability to design impactful data visualizations that effectively communicate key metrics and trends.
**Educational Background:** Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.

This role may be eligible for other compensation including variable compensation, bonus, or commission. Full time regular employees are eligible for paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
