Description

The Residential Habilitation Provider will support people who live at Kingston Supported Apartments, this is a unique program, as they transition towards furthering their independence in maintaining their apartments and daily routines. The Res Hab Provider supports people with disabilities, assisting them with different types of daily activities, teaching and helping them with skills such as cooking at home, cleaning, shopping, laundry and banking.

Whatever the activity, the energetic and dedicated team at the Kingston Apartments are ready to support someone as they attain their life goals and dreams. Employees who work for Supported Apartments should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.

The Residential Habilitation Providers spend their days meeting individuals at their apartments for scheduled contacts and will drive the individuals who they support in their personal vehicles to wherever the need may be; this person will be required to have a reliable vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed. The person in this position will also be trained to be medication certifiable, assist with medical appointments and ensure documentation is processed accurately and timely.

HOURS: 40/Sunday through Thursday 11:00 am to 7:00 pm/flexible, based on needs of program

STARTING SALARY: $ 18.01 to $ 19.82 per hour

Minimum Requirements

+ High School Diploma or GED is preferred

+ Acceptable NYS Driver's License and reliable vehicle

+ Computer skills
