    Department: Nursing Administration - Women and Infants Service Line

     

    FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

     

    Shift: Days

     

    Pay: $63.32 - $101.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

     

    This position is an onsite role and does not offer a hybrid or remote option.

    Requirements:

    + Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing.

    + Master's Degree in Nursing or Administration or signed agreement to complete Master's Degree in Nursing within agreed upon time frame.

    + State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

    + Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider.

    + 5 years of increasing administrative roles including responsibility for multiple units.

    Responsibilities:

    As the Nursing Director of Women and Infants Service Line, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of comprehensive, evidence-based care to our patients and families. You will lead a team of dedicated healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of empathy, collaboration, and excellence. Your leadership will be instrumental in enhancing patient experiences and optimal outcomes.

     

    + Develops and implements departmental goals, plans and evidence-based standards to ensure high-quality patient care consistent with the administrative, legal and ethical standards of the organization. Champions patient-centered care by ensuring that the needs and preferences of patients are at the forefront of decisions.

    + Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including information technologies, service level determination, and complaint management to achieve performance and quality objectives. Models flexibility and resilience in an ever-changing healthcare environment.

    + In collaboration with unit Nurse Managers, plans and monitors staffing activities, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives.

    + Prepares, monitors, and evaluates departmental budgets, ensuring that the division operates in compliance and alignment with allocated funding and productivity goals.

    + Coordinates and directs internal and external audits.

    + Leads multidisciplinary teams in quality improvement initiatives to enhance staff and patient safety, satisfaction, cost effectiveness and clinical outcomes.

    + Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among the nursing managers and staff.
