_Note: The hourly rate for this position is $20 - $27 / hour. This range is a good-faith estimate based on factors such as relevant skills, experience, education, training, geographic location and other considerations permitted by law. Responsibilities:

+ Provide support to carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, and other skilled tradespeople as needed

+ This may include holding materials, setting forms, or preparing the work area, ensuring they are clean, organized, and safe

+ Efficiently move, load, and unload construction materials such as concrete, lumber, steel, and other building supplies

+ Use a variety of hand tools and power tools (e.g., saws, drills, jackhammers, forklifts, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner to assist with demolition, excavation, and groundwork

+ Ensure tools are properly maintained and report any malfunctioning equipment to Site Supervisor

+ Adhere to all OSHA guidelines and local safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and the team

+ Report any safety hazards immediately to the site supervisor

Qualifications:

+ Must have at least 2 years' paid / verifiable experience as a Skilled Laborer (Demolition, site clean up, trenching, Carpenter Helper, Electrician Helper, Plumber Helper, HVAC Helper, etc.) and be able to articulate such experience during an interview

+ Familiarity with construction techniques, materials, and tools, including hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery

+ Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the workday

+ Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople

+ Must be able to work at least 40 hours per week

+ Must have reliable transportation to and from work
