    Description:

    Position Purpose

    Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven **Infectious Disease (ID) Data Integration Coordinator** to support our HIV prevention and treatment efforts. This advanced-level position combines data integration, quality assurance, and project coordination to ensure the accuracy and integrity of client-level health data across our Infectious Disease programs. You’ll play a key role in supporting our Ryan White and high-impact prevention initiatives that directly impact the lives of vulnerable populations.

    What You Will Do

    + Develop, implement, and maintain data standards, protocols, and methodologies for HIV medical and support services.

    + Oversee the collection, organization, and maintenance of client data including eligibility, encounters, medications, labs, oral health, and support services.

    + Perform data integration, mapping, and discrepancy resolution across multiple systems.

    + Utilize tools such as Excel, Access, R, Python, SAS, or SPSS for data mining and report generation.

    + Conduct data audits, validation, and implement quality control measures.

    + Collaborate with IT, Quality Management, and ID Program teams to meet programmatic and grant requirements.

    + Support progress reporting and participate in planning groups to ensure continuous quality improvement.

    + Provide data-related insights to support care for diverse populations, including adults, geriatrics, and occasionally infants to adolescents.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in Data Science, Public Health, Public Administration, or related field.

    + At least 5 years of relevant experience working with HIV/AIDS populations.

    + 2+ years in a supervisory or team leadership role.

    + Demonstrated experience with electronic medical record systems and healthcare data management.

    + Certifications in HIV Prevention and Treatment are preferred
