Job Description
One of Insight Global's clients in the power manufacturing industry is looking for an entrepreneurially minded General Manager to oversee the Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Project Management functions of a growing European team. The role involves building a sales organization in Europe to support the sales of transformers, switchgear, BESS, unit substations, and other products. It includes developing a marketing team to handle quotations and pricing, creating marketing strategies for various market segments by country, and enhancing brand awareness in the region. The position also focuses on identifying growth opportunities, collaborating with global engineering teams on product specifications and road mapping, supporting annual profit plans and strategic plans, and fostering the training and development of the European team to uphold leadership culture.
The ideal candidate lives in Frankfurt, Germany, but an reside in other European countries.

Skills and Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in sales or marketing in the electrical industry
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing reps, distributors, marketing campaigns, and project management teams - Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
- Ability to speak German null
