Job Summary and Qualifications
The Consulting Imaging System Administrator is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, documenting, and improving the overall health and performance of division imaging systems in both the radiology and cardiology domains across the enterprise. The consulting administrator operates as the lead in resolving highly complex issues regarding imaging applications, leads troubleshooting with vendors, assists managers in budget and strategic planning, and serves as an escalation point for issues that surface in the imaging space. The consulting administrator acts as a technical bridge between enterprise imaging systems/teams and other division or enterprise systems/teams.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Support
+ Radiology and Cardiovascular system support and escalations, vendor support interaction
+ System performance analytics, alerting and reporting
+ Problem effort technical leadership
+ Worklist management/configuration and
+ Archive queue monitoring
+ Modality Integration (not configuration)
+ Image Sharing systems support and integrations troubleshooting (EHR, 3rd party, etc)
Product Management
+ Leads inventory creation and maintenance
+ Compliance (security, system configurations, version control)
+ Documents system architecture and leads change management processes
+ Refresh execution
+ Data quality monitoring
+ QA processes are in place in each division, backups are occurring in accordance with HCA policy, PACShealth scores remain at target levels
Strategy
+ Acquisition and divestiture planning and tracking
+ Formulates imaging and related product strategies
+ Image acquisition and management process creation
+ Plans and facilitates Architecture Review (ARC) process
+ Facilitates plans to improve division imaging monthly operations measurements (MOR)
This position requires strong technical skills, people skills, personal drive, and the ability to see strategy through to execution in a matrixed reporting environment. Strong organization, written, verbal, and presentation skills are essential.

+ Organization: Capable of managing multiple bodies of work, communicates & escalates proactively. Proactively communicates status to stakeholders and supervisors at regular intervals and in repeatable, concise format.
+ Independent: Operates as a subject matter expert, only needs minimal, supervision to complete projects or goals.
+ Customer Advocate: Builds relationships with business operations, ITG leaders, vendors, and team members. Collects, tracks, communicates, and resolves enterprise product/vendor issues.
+ Leadership: Leads by setting examples of constant learning of new technologies and delivering work that needs minimal changes or oversight. Encourages collaboration, embraces challenges, and effectively communicates in difficult situations. Demonstrates the ability to develop and mentor others.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
+ Relevant clinical imaging system administration experience including system upgrades and troubleshooting integrations.
+ Previous clinical experience as a Radiologic Technologist or related healthcare profession
+ Creation and maintenance of policies, operational reports and metrics.
+ Experience in large, complex organization or corporate structured environment, leading large multi-disciplinary projects.
+ Understanding of pertinent JCAHO, HIPAA, STS, ACC, MQSA, ACR and other governing body guidelines
+ Mature understanding of standards and emerging technologies, specific to imaging applications
+ Mature understanding of imaging support processes and imaging workflow
+ Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate information both verbally and in writing
Preferred:
+ Strong understanding of HCA systems and procedures
+ Experience operating in HCA division or clinical facilities
+ Demonstrated customer orientation, excellent leadership and teaching abilities
+ Demonstrated advanced computer skills
