Primary responsibilities for the Machinist include:

• Fabricates and modifies parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.

• Machines parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, or grinders.

• Measures, examines, and tests completed units to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications.

• Assist in set-ups of simple (uncomplicated and straightforward) jobs and operate conventional, special-purpose, and computerized numerical control (CNC) machines

• Machining centers to fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts and fits and assemble machined parts into complete units, applying knowledge of machine shop theory and procedures, shop mathematics, machinability of materials, and layout techniques.

• Able to run multiple machines at one time.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 Year / associate degree preferred

• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules,

• Updated Resume

• Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.

**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $22.00 per hour
