Job Title: Material Handler Forklift
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Material Handler Forklift operator for our warehouse team. This role involves working night shifts with schedules either from Sunday to Tuesday or Wednesday to Saturday. As a Material Handler Forklift operator, you will perform tasks related to the receipt, shipment, storage, and distribution of products using both gas and electric-powered forklifts.
Responsibilities
+ Load, unload, move, or store products according to delivery documents or supervisor instructions.
+ Perform partial pallet distribution as needed.
+ Use gas or electric-powered forklifts to move products safely.
+ Finish loading trailers with products.
+ Unload and load production materials into trailers.
+ Manage warehouse inventory and flow.
+ Stage materials for production.
+ Perform warehouse sanitation tasks.
+ Package and move recycling and production waste.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and production through RedZone chat.
+ Maintain accurate and neatly written documentation.
+ Rotate through all production forklift positions.
+ Operate and troubleshoot robot palletizers.
+ Follow GMP and safety regulations at all times.
+ Use SAP and RF Scanner for receiving materials and loading finished goods.
Essential Skills
+ 6+ months of warehouse/material handling experience.
+ Forklift operation expertise.
+ Ability to operate powered industrial equipment including gas and electric forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and attachments like tote dumpers.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
+ Strong decision-making skills and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
+ Effective teamwork and independent judgment.
+ Interpersonal skills for frequent interaction with team members.
+ Physical ability to push and pull up to 500 pounds with a pallet jack and lift/carry up to 35 pounds frequently.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tualatin, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
