Job Summary

CP Rehab - Provides high quality, comprehensive and patient-centered physical therapy services including patient examination, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, and clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Works with various health care team members.

Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy - Physical Therapists provide high quality, comprehensive and patient- centered Physical Therapy services to pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients with a variety of diagnoses and disabilities. Responsibilities include patient evaluation and assessment, development and administration of a treatment plan, documentation and communication with physicians and other referral sources, handling and administration of medications according to legal guidelines, and clinical guidance to licensed and non-licensed personnel. Physical Therapists work with various healthcare team members to assure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Job Requirements

a. Minimum Education Requirement :

CP Rehab - A minimum of 80 hours of clinical education in specialty area. Need to complete two seminars and conferences in specialty area each year to remain status and Clinical Specialist.

Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy - Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program required. Minimum of 80 hours of clinical education in specialty area.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement :

CP Rehab - 5 years of experience or PT Clinical Specialist certification is required. Cardiopulmonary Rehab experience preferred. Age specific population. Excellent customer service skills required.

Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy - 5 years of experience or PT Clinical Specialist certification is required. Excellent customer service skills required.

c. Minimum License Requirement :

CP Rehab - California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions. BLS required. ACLS within 3 months of hire. Annual 4 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH.

Clinical Specialist Physical Therapy - California licensure to practice or eligibility and application for licensure by the Physical Therapy Board of the California State Board of Health Professions. BLS required. Annual 2 hours of stroke education required for those working at QVH. Annual 4 hours of Orthopedic Education required.

$39.72 - $56.80
