Financial Analyst - International Regions VIAJP00001309 A leading digital streaming network seeks a Financial Analyst - International Regions to provide financial and strategic support to our international regions in consolidating, analysing, and managing the P&L, and assist in regular reporting and 'ad hoc' analysis for business leaders. Financial Analyst - International Regions Pay and Benefits: * Hourly pay: $40/hr * Worksite: New York, NY 10036 - Hybrid, Must be onsite 1-2 days in person a week, typically Wednesdays/Thursdays, Flexibility on days - Could be subject to change * W2 Employment, Group Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement Savings Program, PSL * 40 hours/week, 9 Month Assignment Financial Analyst - International Regions Responsibilities: * Business partner to regional teams internationally * Support Finance Manager in maintaining oversight of the regional DTC P& * Performed detailed modelling of key metrics, marketing, subscriber additions, conversion, churn, and revenue for the P+ business in these regions for all forecasts, outlooks, annual and long-range plans * Accurate reporting of P&L against forecast, including narrative on business performance and variances * Coordinate on the month-end close process with cross-functional finance teams, e.g. P2P, RtR, Controllership * Drive core KPI's and business activity * Support the long-range planning (LRP) process and quarterly reviews, the Budget and the monthly forecast process * Collaborate with the wider International Finance team to drive process improvements through automation of reporting packages and dashboards to support all regions * Ad hoc reporting, modelling, and analyses, and supporting local commercial teams with business case development * Own PO tracking and reporting, provide stakeholders with transparency of spend, and ensure POs are raised in a timely manner * Work with Controllers, Tax, and Legal teams to determine requirements applicable to P+ in each region Financial Analyst - International Regions Qualifications: * 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance. * 5+ years of Finance/Accounting-related experience is preferred. * Experience working in a similar role, experience working in the entertainment/media industry is a plus. * Experience working with SAP and LongView is a plus * Experience of interacting with stakeholder groups across multiple finance functions and regions, working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment,t is preferred. * Consumer experience. * Willingness to learn and go through training, and be proactive in their learning experience Able to work in a fast-paced environment that requires an evolving industry Understanding of expense and revenue accounts, corporate finance/accounting background * Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills (3+ years). * Passion to learn and take on new challenges is preferred. Shift: * 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Eastern Time office hours.
