Preferred Home Care of New York** a growing Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area and beyond, is seeking a topnotch, **Human Resources** **Assistant** for our Brooklyn Corporate Office. The **Human Resources Assistant** is responsible for processing, maintaining employee files, and responding to employee inquiries as they arise. **Candidates looking to advance in their career are encouraged to apply.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ **Must be fluent in reading, writing and speaking in Spanish and English** .

+ Must be able to maintain an outgoing, friendly, and professional demeanor when interacting with candidates and Team Members

+ _Human Resource_ experience in the Home Care / Health Care industry is a plus

+ Knowledge with HHA Exchange is a plus (offer training)

+ Experience with employee verification and background checks (CHRC, E-Verify, HCR)
