• Processor Operator

    Weyerhaeuser (Lebanon, OR)


    Weyerhaeuser’s Snow Peak operation, based out of Lebanon, OR has an opening for a Processor Operator. We are seeking individuals who desire to work safely in a market-focused logging environment.

     

    This is a full-time hourly position. Hourly employees at this operation are represented by the IAM-AW Union. Benefits (in accordance with the current Labor Agreement) include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k plans, vacation, and holidays. Rate of pay is $36.685 per hour.

     

    *Key Functions:*

    * Able to safely and competently fulfill all processing responsibilities to include the ability to process/manufacture and sort stems to the required standards, implement new operating software developments, quickly respond to different bucking directions as market changes, and required record keeping

    * Process stems on and off the road under various yarding systems while being able to safely operate the processor on various slopes and soils

    * Able to perform and assist on equipment inspections and fully support and participate in preventative maintenance procedures and routine maintenance repairs as they develop

    * Demonstrated commitment to safety

    * High school diploma or equivalent

    * Valid driver's license

    * Two years of experience operating a processor

    * Competent, qualified, and able to work independently and/or as a team member
