We are seeking a dedicated IT Manager to join our team. This critical role is responsible for the technical design, configuration, and implementation of local and wide are network solutions between multiple platforms including ongoing technical support to remote area networks, Internet, and Electric Data Interchange communications.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure including servers, hardware, and software systems. Ensure network uptime.
+ Monitor and maintain Microsoft network software and auxiliary software products including installation and testing of upgrades as needed.
+ Resolve and/or prevent conflicts between network software to ensure reliability and efficiency.
+ Ensure the security of information systems and data by implementing policies and procedures for robust cyber security measures, backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and maintenance and monitoring of user and passwords for all networked servers.
+ Maintain integrity of the network’s firewalls.
+ Monitor the power conditioning units for all network hardware components, taking appropriate action to ensure hardware safety as needed.
+ Establish and manage relationships with the vendors, service provides, and contractors to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT services and support.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users for all IT systems through help desk ticketing system, including servers, PC’s, operating systems, telephones, software applications, and peripherals, resolving issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
+ Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise applications and software solutions used in manufacturing processes.
+ Recommend and develop strategies to enhance client services, improve user effectiveness, and foster innovation.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify IT needs, evaluate technology solutions, and implement process improvements.
+ Lead IT projects from conception to completion including requirements gathering, planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and implementation.
+ Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to end-users.
+ Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
+ Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT management and manufacturing automation, including use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and security, and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Sciences, or a related field or equivalent experience
Experience and Training:
+ Must have five years experience in IT management roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment
+ Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and ERP systems
+ Technical skills in network infrastructure, systems administration, cyber security, and database management
+ Effective leadership abilities with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing IT teams
+ Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert is preferred
