Redfield Community Memorial Hospital and Clinic is seeking a qualified individual to join our team!
Position Highlights
Job Summary** **:
The Revenue Analyst is responsible for providing support and/or training for Business Office. Provides consultation and support to the Finance Director for developing efficient processes and procedures for Community Memorial Hospital, Redfield and Doland Clinics. Review and/or perform audits in all aspects of the Revenue Cycle process, which includes HIM, billing, Accounts Receivable, claim denials, A/R Aging and charge rejections. Review and/or perform CDM Audits.
Essential Job Functions** **:
Respects the dignity, confidentiality and privacy of patients
Review the charge master, making changes as needed
Knowledge of insurance plans and procedures
Knowledge of the Medi-tech Billing system
Prepares quality assurance reports on an as needed basis (monthly or quarterly)
Self-paced, works independently, quickly, accurately and efficiently
Continues the updates/testing/software programs
Knowledge of CMS rules and regulations
Marginal Job functions** **:
Understands the responsibilities of maintaining and updating skills and job knowledge
Other duties as assigned
Assist directors with any questions regarding pricing within their departments
Assist clinic billing with questions regarding billing questions or processes
Must pay attention to details
Knowledge of insurance plans and procedures
Works with little supervision
Self-paced, working accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines
Cooperation with ancillary departments
Knowledge of computer networking operations
Other job duties as assigned
Essential Physical Demands** **:
Dexterity necessary for keyboarding, typing, adding machine usage, filing, holding, indexing, inserting, lifting, opening, sorting, stapling, turning, and writing
Good communication skills and hearing are necessary when dealing with patients, visitors, nurses, physicians, and other staff. Job involves frequent, repetitive motions of the hands/wrists involved with computer entry.
Equipment Used to Perform Job** **:
Must be familiar with and able to operate all equipment utilized in the department, including computers/keyboards, copy machines, fax machines, telephones, printers, etc.

Must be able to deal daily with professional, non-professional and medical staff
Must be able to deal with potential unpleasant job activities resulting from frequent interruptions and/or distractions, customer demands. Must be able to effectively prioritize tasks midst these activities.
Education and Experience** **:** **Associates degree in Business Administration or 4 years in business experience preferred; must have a high school education. Previous medical experience preferred. Computer knowledge necessary; knowledge of medical insurance processes very helpful.

Possesses tactful verbal communication skills
Demonstrates ability to problem solve through critical thinking applications and work well under stress while maintaining positive attitude and composure.
Must have an ability to develop an excellent rapport with clients, customers, hospital staff and physicians
