The role of the Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk is to update and maintain the Church s donor database system and help manage our receivables. This function is critical to ensuring that restricted funds are appropriately accounted for and that donor records are accurate and receivables support the Church s financial statements. This position requires integrity and strict confidentiality. SKILLS : Knowledge and proficiency in database management systems, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., in a Windows 2000 environment; knowledge of MS Great Plains a plus. Basic skills in math Interpersonal/communication skills Organizational skills, time management skills Strong self-starter Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexible and coachable QUALIFICATIONS: At least 3 years of data entry experience Some exposure to account receivables a plus Associate degree preferred; high school diploma plus some technical education required.
