    About the role

     

    Responsible for broker-related sales requests and helping to drive the creative development of sales and broker marketing initiatives; including creating and executing pro-active marketing campaigns targeting producers. Works with marketing team and other departments to update the trustmarksolutions.com website; helps establish editorial and marketing calendars; writes content and posts blogs using a content management system; drives the development, content creation and ongoing updates for new sales and marketing microsites. Acts as a liaison to the sales team for lead management, regularly participate on sales/marketing calls and manages project intake process from sales (as well as other departments). Also, assists with Search Engine Optimization, paid social media campaigns, reporting on campaign outcomes, and creating and deploying content through marketing automation systems (Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce MarketingCloud).

    Key Accountabilities:

    + Assesses, determines, and creates appropriate strategies and solutions for each broker marketing initiative, working with marketing team and various departments to get projects and tasks to broker team to ensure each deliverable is completed on time, within budget and achieves the desired outcome/result as defined within the marketing communication plan.

    + Assists with planning and internal rollout of marketing campaigns as well as ongoing coordination with sales, including campaign launch, lead management and post-campaign reporting. Presents campaigns and marketing initiatives to achieve internal buy-in and to deliver learnings from campaign outcomes.

    + Creates paid social media campaigns in LinkedIn including budgeting and targeting.

    + Is responsible for social content calendar, content creation and deployment of social campaigns.

    + Creates website and blog content while maintaining the editorial calendar and ensuring alignment with the social media calendar; also creates product brochures, flyers, sales emails, and direct mailers. Edits existing marketing materials, microsites, HTML emails, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

    + Monitors SEO and implements updates to website using BrightEdge SEO tool

    + Writes, builds, and deploys email content and journeys through via marketing automation platform to deploy content to appropriate audience(s). Monitors, measures, and reports on campaign performance.

    + Provides tactical support to Sales and Marketing department as needed. Depending on the scope of the work, either participates in or leads project intake; meeting with sales team member and internal leadership to understand projects and goals. Assists or owns development of appropriate messaging and tactics to meet those goals.

    + Helps manage marketing analytics measurement, tracking and reporting, as required, for all aspects of broker/employer/online marketing through marketing creative project tool and web/social analytics.

    + Other duties as needed/assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree.

    + Three to five years of marketing, communications, and business experience, with preference for experience in B2B or B2C at financial institutions, or similar relevant experience.

    + Thorough understanding of products and services offered or be able to quickly gain this knowledge.

    + Ability to manage a project and maintain organization while working with multiple contributors, subject matter experts and approvers.

    + Exceptional writing skills with an emphasis on succinctly presenting complex concepts.

    + Strong oral communication skills and experience building presentation materials as well as presenting.

    + Experience working within web CMS systems, including standard webpage updates.

    + Flexibility to adjust priorities based on shifting timelines; willingness to acknowledge inquiries and be responsive/proactive with current project requests and status.

    + Proven experience working in a wide variety of media and formats including, but not limited to:

    + Digital – Website copywriting, blog writing, social media, email marketing, PowerPoint.

    + Print – Direct mail, various print collateral, conference displays.

    + Interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily develop, build and maintain internal and external relationships.

    + Strong oral communication skills/polished presentation skills, both in-person and via online methods.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office, content management systems.

    Preferred:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, or Communications

    + Comfort communicating marketing concepts, goals, and strategic initiatives to internal stakeholders, with the ability to develop colleagues’ understanding of departmental interdependencies and processes.

    + Two+ years’ experience with LinkedIn advertising including audience creation, budgeting, reporting, and best practices for A/B testing content.

    + One+ year of experience with SEO and familiarity with SEO best practices.

    + Familiarity with Kentico.

    + AP style.

    The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois):

    $61,412.00 - $88,706.00 per year

     

    The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus. We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive salary within the market.
