**Description:** Business development position serving as a business development analyst for the Maritime Integrated Air & Missile Defense \(IAMD\) market segment within the Multi\-Domain Combat Solutions \(MDCS\) organization\. This role will support the Vice President, RMS IWSS Strategy and Business Development and the IWSS Business Development Leadership Team in, as well as supporting the execution of the Maritime IAMD submarket segment growth strategy\.

In doing so, the successful candidate will:

• In partnership with the leadership team, prioritize and facilitate completion of key actions items and activities across the Business Development team\.

• Participate as a member of the staff in strategic planning, business operations and problem resolution discussions\.

• Act as a direct contact between the Vice President and her staff of vice presidents and director level employees\.

• Provide the Vice President with relevant and timely status updates\.

• Coordinate with other functions to include HR, Communications and Finance and other stakeholders to support team success on key initiatives\.

• The successful candidate will excel in fast\-paced, high\-demand environments with the ability to effectively prioritize and multi\-task\. Must be willing to travel and work off\-hours as dictated by customer and leadership demands\.

• Support and pursue strategies resulting in advancement of Integrated Combat System, Aegis Weapons System, and Ship Self Defense System \(SSDS\) capabilities, development of rapid combat capabilities including easier integration of new and novel integrated air and missile defense effectors, broad integration of artificial intelligence / machine learning technology, application of Aegis in new mission areas, and implementation of Aegis in different form factors and virtualized instantiations\.

• Assist in development of product and technology roadmaps\.

• Support the Maritime IAMD BD Senior Manager in managing NBF allocations and budgets and ensuring quality and accuracy of entries within LM Bridge\.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly articulate strategies, technology capabilities, and warfighter benefits across multiple levels of internal LM and external Government Leaders\.

• Must have RMS Business Development experience\.

• Experience working on cross functional teams\.

• Business acumen, strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, reliability, and sound judgment\.

• Diplomatic, persuasive, and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external customers / partners\.

• Proactive, superior attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills\.

• Passion for personal accountability, achievement, learning and continual improvement\.

• Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations\.

• Proclivity towards teaming and collaboration\-must be a team player with strong communication and presentation skills\.

• A high degree of flexibility and the ability to travel when required\.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in milestone/EPP process; to include opportunity identification, developing business cases, and capture management

• Strong technical skills and the ability to synthesize a broad range of information to identify potential solutions to customer requirements\.

• Must be self\-motivated and able to operate with minimal guidance in a highly competitive environment\.

• Awareness of, and ability to effectively interact with, current and potential DOD customers\.

• Team Player \- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills and demonstrated ability to lead and work in cross\-functional teams\.

• Domestic & International program experience\.

• Strong understanding of LM/RMS Win Plan\.

• Understanding of or experience in engineering, capture management, business development, program management or project management\.

• Ability to meet schedule and established budgets\.

**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Part\-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process\.

**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.

**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
