    Anticipated through May 23. Salary range is from Step 1 to Step 10.

     

    Marcus Whitman CSD is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Long-Term Substitute Math Teacher to join our high school team. This position covers a leave of absence and requires someone who can effectively deliver engaging and rigorous math instruction, maintain classroom routines, and support student learning in alignment with our school’s standards.

    Responsibilities:

    + Teach high school-level math courses

    + Plan and deliver daily lessons aligned to curriculum and learning goals.

    + Assess student understanding and provide timely feedback and grades.

    + Maintain accurate records of attendance, assignments, and assessments.

    + Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student achievement.

    + Communicate regularly with parents and guardians as needed.

    + Uphold classroom management and maintain a positive, respectful learning environment.

    Job Qualifications

    Must have or working toward NYS Math Certification.
