    Responsibilities

    Mayo Clinic is seeking a board eligible or board certified academic infectious disease physician to join our practice in Jacksonville, Florida. The division is open to a variety of clinical sub-specialty background interests such as transplant, oncology, global medicine or musculoskeletal medicine.

     

    The position will include an academic appointment with the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. The Infectious Diseases division in Florida supports an ACGME-accredited fellowship in infectious diseases poised for expansion and growth over the next 1-3 years.

    The position attributes include:

    + Opportunities to further develop subspecialty expertise in inpatient and/or outpatient medicine depending on the candidate's background and interests

    + Engage in patient centric research, leveraging a flexible clinical practice and the Molecular Medicine and Drug Discovery lab to access research support

    Qualifications

    Qualifications: Candidates should have Infectious Diseases fellowship training, be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Infectious Diseases, and have been in clinical practice for several years resulting in the identification and development of subspecialty clinical and research expertise.
