Description

Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys and legal teams with a wide range of administrative and legal tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of civil litigation procedures and practices, as well as excellent organizational and multitasking skills. This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing deadlines and ensuring seamless workflow within fast-paced litigation environments.

Responsibilities:

+ Oversee calendar management and docketing, ensuring case deadlines are closely monitored and met

+ Conduct comprehensive internet and legal research while regularly reviewing online court docket updates

+ Perform state and federal court filings, maintaining accuracy and compliance with court filing requirements

+ Draft, review, edit, proofread, and finalize legal documents including motions, discovery requests, complaints, and correspondence

+ Prepare and organize document productions for legal proceedings, ensuring all relevant materials are included

+ Handle e-filing tasks in both federal and state courts with precision

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently

+ Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and legal secretaries to ensure smooth workflows and adherence to legal protocol

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Proficiency in e-filing processes for both state and federal courts

+ Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and practices

+ Proven experience in managing litigation filing tasks accurately
