Description We are looking for a skilled and motivated Real Estate Attorney to join our team in Menlo Park, California. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, including real estate transactions, land use, civil litigation, and business agreements. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities:
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate and land use agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, and project entitlements.
• Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses to support real estate and litigation cases.
• Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve legal disputes effectively and efficiently.
• Provide legal counsel on business transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage case files, track deadlines, and maintain accurate documentation using case management software.
• Stay updated on legal developments in real estate and land use to provide informed guidance to clients.
• Assist with claim administration and complaint handling in civil litigation cases.
• Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the growth of the firm’s legal practice areas.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear and attentive communication and service delivery. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in transactional law, civil litigation, or related legal fields.
• Proficiency in legal tools and software, including case and document management platforms.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills to handle complex legal issues.
• Demonstrated experience in drafting and negotiating real estate and land use agreements.
• Familiarity with civil litigation processes, including discovery, depositions, and courtroom procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
• A strong interest in developing an individual legal practice within a collaborative team environment.
• Active license to practice law in the state of California.
