Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team in Walnut, California. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing complex payroll operations across multiple states. The successful candidate will handle payroll processes for a large workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage payroll processing for over 1,000 employees in multiple states.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, to analyze payroll data and create reports.

• Process in-house payroll efficiently and accurately, meeting all deadlines.

• Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to resolve payroll-related issues.

• Maintain detailed payroll records and ensure data integrity.

• Stay up-to-date with changing payroll laws and regulations.

• Provide payroll support for unionized employees, leveraging knowledge of unionized payroll processes.

• Assist in streamlining payroll workflows and identifying areas for improvement. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration, with a focus on multi-state operations.

• Proficiency in processing in-house payroll for large organizations.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis.

• Strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance requirements.

• Experience with union payroll processes is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus but not required.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
