    Description

    We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Part Time Staff Accountant to join our team in Fargo, North Dakota. This is a contract to hire position requiring 30 hours per week of onsite work. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial processes and systems to ensure accurate and efficient accounting operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

    • Oversee accounts payable processes, including invoice verification and timely payments.

    • Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect accurate financial records.

    • Prepare and post journal entries as part of routine financial operations.

    • Monitor cash flow and provide regular updates to support financial planning.

    • Participate in month-end close activities, ensuring deadlines are met and reports are accurate.

    • Generate financial reports for board meetings, providing clear and concise data analysis.

    • Utilize Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to manage and streamline accounting tasks.

     

    Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.

     

    • Proficiency in accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.

    • Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and journal entry preparation.

    • Hands-on experience with account and bank reconciliations.

    • Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is required.

    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Ability to work onsite in Fargo, North Dakota, for 30 hours per week.
