Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Combined Locks, Wisconsin. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to vendors. This position requires strong organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy to maintain the integrity of our financial operations.

Responsibilities:

+ Analyze and manage accounts payable financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Prepare financial reports and statements in a timely manner.

+ Handle accounts payable and general ledger reconciliations.

+ Assist month-end and year-end close processes.

+ Perform data analysis in financial systems and tools, such as Excel.

+ Monitor compliance with accounting standards and relevant regulations.

+ Collaborate with teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.

+ Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.

+ Prepare check runs.

+ Maintain accurate accounting records and systems.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Excel and SAP for financial data management.

• Strong skills in data entry, invoice processing, and coding.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records.

• Familiarity with check runs and voucher preparation processes.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

• Knowledge of standard accounting practices and procedures.
