How You’ll Make an Impact
Are you someone that loves people and wants to learn and experience the field of Human Resources? We are looking for HR support for the Vice President, Human Resources in the HR Administration and people projects.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship offers valuable exposure to core HR functions in a dynamic and supportive work environment in manufacturing. You'll gain hands-on experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR operations while developing key professional skills.
People and Culture
+ Support, plan and lead efforts related to company culture, core values and Praxis staff.
+ Coordinate employee events and people programs
+ Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources
+ Must love contributing to creating a great place to work for our staff!
Recruitment and Staffing
+ Learn about recruiting and applicant tracking systems to help support our open positions
+ Process and file all new hire paperwork and assist with new hire orientation session
+ Support background check initiations
+ Coordinate phone screens and interviews
Performance Management:
+ Assist in the performance appraisal process roll out and filing of reviews
Benefits Administration:
+ Data entry for all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
+ Assist with Praxis Open Enrollment
Training and Development:
+ Schedule employee development programs and trainings under the advisement of the VP, HR
+ Ensure that all meetings and trainings have appropriate support and supplies
HR Administration:
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
+ Process HR-related documentation, such as employee files, changes, letters, and other forms
+ Assist in HR projects as requested.
+ Provide support as requested for projects run by the Vice President, Human Resources or the Praxis Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
+ Pursuing bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
+ Must love people and culture!
+ Experience or understanding of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
+ Proven experience with people, and the desire to learn and grow.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
