    Position Summary: The Dining Services Team Member supports service in the cafeteria and delivery of food to neighborhoods in a way that honors individual elders and staff needs, with a commitment to customer service. Responsibilities include:

     

    + Prep and stocking cafeteria and neighborhoods.

    + Prep and serve of hot and cold food in the cafeteria.

    + Maintains safe food handling and storage practices.

    + Expedites food to elders, staff on neighborhoods as needed.

    + Professionally fields requests for neighborhood meals.

    + Works closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth meal delivery service.

    + May support utility as needed (washing dishes, pots, and maintaining a clean work environment).

    + Works register in cafeteria.

    + Reports and checks out with assistant manager/ Manager on Duty prior to end of shift.

    Qualifications:

    + Desire and ability to interact and build relationships with elders and care for their needs.

    + Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John's Brand Characteristics of being respectful, friendly,

     

    responsive, compassionate, innovative and fun.

     

    + Experience in food service preferred.
