Are you passionate about maritime engineering and eager to dive into real-world applications? Look no further! Foss Maritime is offering an exceptional opportunity for aspiring marine engineers to join us as a summer intern. The Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting the Technical Engineering Team with daily activities to ensure and reliable design documentation for all Foss Maritime projects. Whether it's solving transportation challenges in remote parts of the world or efficiently handling harbor jobs, Foss Maritime prides itself on always offering customers safe and innovative solutions. This is a Summer 2025 internship. Responsibilities: * Develop stability and structural calculations mentored by experienced naval architects * Complete AutoCAD drafting * Help develop and revising vessel technical drawings * Assist the engineering team’s user documentation process * Create weight and moment calculations * Preferred Skills: * Engineering design process * 3D modeling Education: * Must be currently attending a 4-year university with degree in an engineering field. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed primarily in an office environment with potential for visits to shipyards, and vessels.
