    Description

    Position Data:

    Grade: 2 Non-Exempt

     

    Reports to: Maintenance Manager

    Basic Function or Position Summary:

    Performs cleaning and janitorial work

     

    Pay rate is $15.76 per hour

    Requirements

    Position Responsibilities and Specific Duties:

    + Maintains floor coverings such as mopping, sweeping, carpet cleaning, etc.

    + Dusts furniture and equipment

    + Take out trash.

    + Washes windows, door panels, and sills.

    + Cleans bathrooms, offices, and common areas and notifies Maintenance Manager of supply needs.

    + Performs pick-up and deliveries as required by Maintenance Manager

    + Performs ground maintenance tasks as assigned.

    + Performs general grounds keeping and landscaping.

    + Has some basic ability to trouble shoot while on the jobsite and notifies Maintenance Manager of worksite maintenance needs.

    + Promotes agency mission.

    + Maintains confidentiality and complies with the code of ethics.

    + Maintains consistent professional customer service.

    + Job performance incorporates integrated service delivery model while promoting self-sufficiency.

    + Other duties as designated by supervisor.

    A. Internal: Building staff, Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance Staff

    B. External: Suppliers

    Supervisory Scope:

    A. Number of staff supervised: 0

    B. Titles supervised: N/A

    Organizational Responsibilities:

    + Cleanliness of COI facilities.

    + Adheres to all policies and procedures.

    + Gathers appropriate documentation and tracks outcomes.

    + Participates in organizational committee structures as appropriate.

    + Participates in organizational and divisional management systems.

    Knowledge, Skills Required:

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Basic cleaning skills and knowledge required.

    Physical:

    + Ability to lift up to and including 25-50 pounds of physical effort.

    Special Requirements:

    + Must be able to provide consistent even tempered customer service at all times.

    + Valid Driver’s license

    + Reliable transportation

    + Ability to travel throughout the county.

    + Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required.

    + Works compassionately with a diverse population.
