Salary: $20 / Hour

Job Title: Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher

Duration: Rest of the 2024/2025 School Year

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: Starting at $65 per hour

Case Load: Approximately 10-12 students

Requirements:

+ Valid Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching Credential

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Moderate/Severe Special Education Teacher to join our team for the remainder of the 2024/2025 school year and possibly the following school year. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities and a strong commitment to providing individualized support and instruction.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students

+ Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the needs of students

+ Collaborate with other educators, parents, and support staff to ensure student success

+ Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed

+ Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Qualifications:

+ Moderate to Severe Special Education Teaching Credential

+ Experience working with students with moderate to severe disabilities

+ Strong communication and organizational skills

+ Ability to work collaboratively with a team
