SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Plan, manage, or coordinate the Nursing operations within the organization. Manages the work efforts of supervisors and/or individual contributors. Makes decisions based on unit objectives, as well as company policies and procedures.

This 23-bed acute care floor is a fast-paced orthopedics and trauma unit caring for patients having elective orthopedic procedures, including spine, ankle and joint replacement surgeries. Nurses also care for complex trauma patients using remote telemetry monitoring capabilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

+ Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Nursing required.

+ Five (5) years clinical experience required.

+ Progressive leadership experience required.

+ Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

+ AHA BLS prior to end of orientation period
