The Ld, Res Project Coord, WPIC will coordinate several multi-year studies with hundreds of participants, multiple data collection methods, varying quality checking procedures, and complex data processing pathways. This employee will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the lab, as well as helping to shape the future direction of the lab through management and contribution of ideas. This employee will learn all study procedures, be able to carry them out, train others, clean data, and help to prepare data for publication.
This position is grant funded.
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for the submission of regular reports detailing the progress of the research, including NIH progress reports.
+ Coordinate the daily activities and special projects for department.
+ Provides input towards hiring decisions and performance evaluations.
+ Responsible for preparing and modifying IRB protocols, Regulatory Binders, and Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Maintain accurate records of project spending and funds available.
+ Communicate effectively with the research, clinical, and administrative staff related to this research.
+ Coordination of recruitment ie. Advertisements, tracking recruitment, and developing strategies to increase response in targeted populations.
+ Assist with quality assurance over all aspects of data collection and management, including data flow, data entry and verification, maintenance of all project databases, data security and confidentiality.
+ Mentor, train, and assist with supervising junior research staff as needed.
+ Provide advanced level research/administrative/and project management support for the research study.
+ Coordinate scheduling of assessments.
+ Coordinate data preparation to assist PI/Dept head with presentations, manuscripts, reports, etc
+ Responsible for coordinating the workflow of staff, work study, volunteers and other study personnel.
+ Bachelor's degree in psychology, sociology, business administration or related area of study required.
+ Five years of relevant research and/or clinical experience with two years of project management experience required.
+ Prior supervisory experience preferred.
+ Computer Skills (Microsoft Office Products).
+ Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
+ Strong organizational skills.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
