In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.
+ Provide engineering support to the design, development and selection of basic hardware components utilizing fundamental mechanical engineering principles, theories and techniques.
+ Obtain working knowledge of company tools. Perform analyses and compile data for investigation by senior engineering personnel.
+ Assist in the design and fabrication of prototype hardware. Support the environmental testing of hardware including: vibration, shock, thermal, fatigue and others as required. Document results for review by senior engineering personnel.
+ Support assemblers, technicians and inspectors for manufacturing issues on new and existing products.
+ Develop or improve test fixtures, tooling, manufacturing processes and other procedures for new and existing product builds to reduce defects and improve yields.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Pursuing a MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent), having completed 4 years of schooling (Class of 2026) by Summer 2025.
+ Eligible for DOD Security Clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Ability to research and apply mechanical engineering principles and theories to solve mechanical engineering problems.
+ Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
+ Excellent problem solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
+ Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner.
+ Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
+ Experience in Creo, AutoCAD, ANSYS, Siemens NX or MATLAB is a plus.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $64272 - $86767
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20 hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
