pricing strategies, cemetery development objectives, cemetery improvement plans, and spoils management projects in assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR). Provide guidance to Market and Location Management to optimize cemetery property, merchandise, and service revenues. Accountable for accurate cemetery property inventory, merchandise, and service pricing.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Pricing Strategies
+ Implement cemetery pricing strategies for property, merchandise and services, as outlined by the corporate pricing department.
+ Maintain all property, merchandise and service items and retail prices in PAS, HMIS and the standard cemetery price book. Implement approved Ad Hoc price change requests as directed by the Director of Pricing and Cemetery Development within 72 hours.
+ Perform analytics ensuring maximized revenue and contribution opportunity, at least once a year; utilize the company’s pricing applications (TOPAS, PISCES, PAS and EQPT) and Tableau to prepare data analysis. Identify compliant and deficient areas and develop improvement plans. Present finding to Market Management; present findings in the monthly revenue meeting.
Cemetery Property Development
+ Manage cemetery property development, inventory projects, and large sales including physical property inventory, HMIS property setup, and retail pricing strategies.
+ Monitor expense and timeline results against pro forma for all developed property using Tableau & Cemetery Power Pivot analytics. Provide monthly updates to Market Leadership and Sales Directors to ensure achievement of pro forma commitments.
+ Load all new cemetery property inventory development projects in ATLAS and ORACLE Projects and update when new data is available.
Cemetery Improvement Plans
+ Inspect and assess AOR cemeteries regularly. Complete a cemetery site visit checklist. Document compliant and deficient areas. Create cemetery development and improvement plans. Discuss findings and recommendations with Market and location management.
+ Consult in the cemetery maintenance program to ensure optimal cost targets are achieved.
+ Advise Market Leadership/Location Management on the management of cemetery spoils to ensure compliance with company, State and Federal regulations.
+ May train co-workers. Other responsibilities as requested.
Education/Experience/Minimum Requirements
Education:
+ A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or Construction Management
Experience:
+ At least five (5) cemetery pricing/revenue and cemetery construction experience required
+ At least ten (10) years of experience in Pricing/Revenue Management and Construction Management
+ Project Management experience required
+ Proficient in MS Office suite, Excel, MS Project, mail, Power Point
+ Proficient in Pricing Administration Software, HMIS, Tableau, Cemetery Power Pivots Analysis, TOPAS, PISCES, EQPT, ATLAS, and ORACLE
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient in data management technical applications
+ Multi-Tasking – Ability to manage competing priorities / projects successfully

+ Professional business dress is required when in the MSC or in situations where clients are present
